Can microcement be used for flooring?

Yes, we offer a wide range of options for flooring for both homes and businesses.

Can microcement be used in a shower?

Yes, microcement systems are totally waterproof and appropriate for shower floors as well as walls.

Do I have to use Atlanttic for wet areas?

No, you're not required to. Any other powder choice is acceptable as long as DSV sealer is used in combination with it. WT and Atlanttic are compatible.

What is the difference between Sttandard and Natture?

Natture contains predominantly lime powder which feels different on a trowel and has a slightly different visual appearance.

Can microcement be applied directly over tile?

In most cases it can be, but you must fill all grout lines with a levelling mix - let that fully cure and sand down the imperfections prior to application of micro.

Can microcement be applied directly over drywall?

Yes, your drywalls must be prepped to a minimum of level 4 - all seams must be taped, mudded and sanded; all screw wholes must be filled.

Can microcement be applied directly over plywood/OSB?

In most cases it can be, but you must follow specific preparation requirements to ensure all sheets are secured properly and the entirety of the surface is coated with a vapour barrier solution. You have to ensure that microcement is not in direct contact with wood.

How do you apply microcement?

If you have never used microcement before, we strongly advise you to conduct an online search. The manufacturer's website provides step-by-step instructions, but if you require more assistance, we are happy to help. Our manufacturer has YouTube tutorials about the application procedure as well.

Do you ship outside of British Columbia?

For a flat cost of $50, small orders (10 buckets or less) can now be delivered locally within Metro Vancouver.
